How much do followers cost?

Why we charge in dollars
Our prices are set in US dollars, and the checkout charges in dollars. When you pay with a UK card, your bank or card provider converts the amount to pounds at its own rate on the day. Some cards add a foreign-exchange fee, often a few per cent; many current accounts and travel cards don’t. Check your card’s terms if the exact figure matters.
If you want to know the figure in pounds before you pay, most banking apps and card providers have a currency calculator that uses the rate they’ll charge. Rates move daily, so the amount in pounds can differ slightly from one week to the next even though our dollar price doesn’t.
What you’ll see on your statement
The checkout shows the total in dollars. Your statement shows the pounds amount your card provider worked out, and if your card charges a foreign-exchange fee it usually appears either built into that figure or as a separate line. Apple Pay and Google Pay charge the card stored in them, so the same rate and fee apply whichever button you press. If you put several packages in the basket they go through as one payment, which helps if your card charges a flat fee per non-sterling transaction rather than a percentage.

How the price per follower falls with size
Every service gets cheaper per unit as the package grows, and the fall is steepest at the small end. On Instagram followers, 100 cost 3.99¢ each and 10,000 cost 0.60¢ each, so the smallest package is about six and a half times the price per follower of the largest. The first two steps up do most of the work: going from 100 to 1,000 cuts the per-1,000 price from $39.90 to $13.99, while going from 1,000 to 10,000 takes it from $13.99 to $6.00.
TikTok views are priced differently because a view is a much smaller thing than a follower. 1,000 views cost $1.99, less than the smallest Instagram likes package (100 for $2.49). At 100,000 they come down to 0.06¢ each.

There are three good reasons to split anyway. Likes and views attach to one post or video, so if you want 500 likes on each of two posts, two orders of 500 is the right buy, not 1,000 on one. A small first order, such as 100 Instagram followers for $3.99, is a cheap way to see how delivery works before a bigger one. And if your account is small, two orders a month apart grow the count more gradually than one large jump, which can look more natural; you pay a little more for that.

- A Leeds café on 180 Instagram followers opening a second site: 500 followers ($9.99) plus 250 likes on the launch post ($3.99), $13.98 in total.
- A Cardiff personal trainer on TikTok with one video that explains their programme well: 10,000 views on that video ($9.99) and 500 followers ($9.49), $19.48 in total.
- A Glasgow wedding band whose Instagram is the first thing couples check: 1,000 followers ($13.99), and nothing else until the next run of gig videos.
What changes the price between sellers
Across the market, prices for the same number of followers vary a lot. The differences usually come down to a handful of things:
- Pacing. Spreading delivery over hours costs the seller more than dumping it all at once.
- Refills. A seller who tops up drops has to price that in. One who doesn’t, can charge less.
- Support. Somebody answering email costs money.
- Claims. “Real”, “active” and “targeted” followers are usually priced higher. Whether you get anything different is another question, and our page on real followers is blunt about it.
The cheapest packages on the market often skip pacing, refills and support altogether, and the low price can hide a subscription or a request for your password. Getting good value
- Buy the size you need in one go. Ten Instagram orders of 100 cost $39.90; one order of 1,000 costs $13.99.
- Match the service to the goal. To make one TikTok video look popular, views cost far less per unit than followers. To make an Instagram post stand out, likes beat followers.
- Avoid oversizing. The cheapest rate is on the largest package, but it only saves money if the result looks believable.
- Check for subscriptions. A low weekly price adds up. Ours are all one-off.
