When a stranger taps your name
Most people meet a new TikTok account on the For You feed, not on its profile. They watch one video, and if it holds them they tap the name. What they land on is a header with three numbers (Following, Followers and Likes), a bio of up to 80 characters, a profile photo, and a grid of your videos with each one’s play count printed on the thumbnail. The decision to follow takes a second or two. On a new account, a follower count of 14 sitting above a video they just enjoyed makes that decision harder than it needs to be.
500 followers is aimed at that moment. It lifts a fresh account out of single and double figures into a range that looks like someone started it properly, without jumping to a number the rest of the profile can’t support.
Who 500 suits
- Accounts under roughly 300 followers, particularly ones only a few weeks or months old. 500 more is a clear change without turning the account into something it obviously isn’t.
- Anyone restarting on a new handle. Picture a Cardiff personal trainer who has moved from a personal account to a business one: the old followers don’t come across, and the new profile looks abandoned until it has some.
- Side projects testing whether TikTok is worth the effort, such as a Norwich candle maker posting packing and pouring clips, who wants the profile to look settled whilst deciding.
Already past 600 or so? Then 500 more is a smaller step than it sounds, and 1,000 TikTok followers is the closer fit. If you’re starting from zero on both Instagram and TikTok, our page on followers for a brand-new account covers the order of things in more detail.
250, 500 or 1,000?
| TikTok followers | Price | Each | Per 1,000 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 250 followers | $5.99 | 2.4¢ | $23.96 |
| 500 followers | $9.49 | 1.9¢ | $18.98 |
| 1,000 followers | $14.99 | 1.5¢ | $14.99 |
Prices are in US dollars. Your card provider converts the total to pounds when you pay, and any foreign-exchange fee depends on your card.
Two orders of 250 would cost $11.98, so taking 500 in one go saves $2.49 and arrives as a single paced delivery rather than two bursts. Stepping up to 1,000 costs another $5.50 for twice as many followers, a better rate, but only worth it if your profile can carry four figures.
A quick way to choose: look at the Likes total in your header. Under about 200, a follower count of 1,000 will sit oddly beside it, and 250 or 500 is the safer look. A few hundred likes spread across a handful of videos is where 500 fits naturally. All seven sizes are on the TikTok followers page.
Videos to have up before you order
Followers land on a profile, so the profile should be worth landing on. You don’t need dozens of uploads, just enough that the grid doesn’t look like a placeholder.
- Five or six public videos at least. TikTok’s grid is three across, so six fills the first two rows on most phones and the profile no longer looks empty below the header.
- A pinned introduction. TikTok lets you pin up to three videos to the top of the grid. Make the first one a clear “this is what the account is” video rather than your latest experiment.
- Your best performer, pinned too, so its play count is one of the first numbers a visitor sees.
- A real profile photo and a bio that says what you do. 80 characters goes quickly. Our bio generator writes TikTok-length bios, and the font generator works for a styled TikTok name line as well.
Test clips that stalled at 30 plays drag the grid down. You don’t have to delete them: switching a video’s privacy to Only me hides it from your profile but keeps it in your account.
Mistakes we see on small accounts
- Renaming the account mid-delivery. We send followers to the username you entered. Change it partway and the rest can’t find the account, so wait until the order completes.
- Ordering to a private profile. Switch to public first. When you search your username in the order box you’ll see a preview of the account, which is a good moment to check.
- Expecting the For You feed to change. These 500 followers won’t watch or like your videos, so TikTok won’t treat your next upload differently because they’re there. Our guide to how the algorithm works explains what it does pay attention to.
- Stacking small packages on the same day. 250 followed by another 250 costs more than one 500 and lands as two separate jumps.
500 TikTok followers is selected. Search your username to see the profile preview before you pay.
Go to the order boxDelivery and the weeks after
The first followers usually appear within minutes of payment, and the rest come through in batches during the day; a 500 order normally finishes the same day. Keep the profile public and the username unchanged until it’s done.
After that, keep posting. Bought followers don’t comment or share, so the thing that decides how far your next video travels is still the video. A little drop-off over the following weeks is normal, because TikTok removes accounts it considers inauthentic. If the count falls within 30 days of delivery finishing, email support@followersgain.co.uk with the ord_ reference from your confirmation and we’ll top it up free.
If one or two of your videos now look neglected beside the new count, a small top-up evens things out: 100 TikTok likes are $1.99, and so are 1,000 TikTok views on a single video.
