Who should order 10,000, and who shouldn’t
10,000 is for an account that’s already well established. A Manchester tattoo studio with 6,500 followers, a feed of healed work and a waiting list it fills through Stories is the kind of profile it fits. The order takes the studio to 16,500, about two and a half times where it started: a big step, but one that sits on top of years of steady posting.
It isn’t for a 200-follower account. 10,000 on 200 means 98% of the audience arrived in a single order, under a grid and like counts that obviously belong to a small page. Anyone who looks closely will see it, and no amount of careful pacing changes that. We’d rather you bought something smaller.
- Under 3,000 followers: choose 5,000 or 2,500 for now.
- 3,000 to 8,000: the range where 10,000 fits best.
- Over 10,000: it works as a top-up that roughly doubles the account or less.
The lowest price per follower
| Package | Price | Each | Per 1,000 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 followers | $13.99 | 1.4¢ | $13.99 |
| 2,500 followers | $22.99 | 0.92¢ | $9.20 |
| 5,000 followers | $34.99 | 0.70¢ | $7.00 |
| 10,000 followers | $59.99 | 0.60¢ | $6.00 |
Prices are in US dollars. Your card provider converts the total to pounds when you pay, and any foreign-exchange fee depends on your card.
Every smaller size costs more per follower. Building the same 10,000 from ten orders of 1,000 would cost $139.90; from four orders of 2,500, $91.96; from two orders of 5,000, $69.98. The full picture across every platform is in what followers cost, and cheap versus better followers explains what a lower price does and doesn’t tell you.
One order or two?
One 10,000 order is the cheapest way to add 10,000. Two orders of 5,000, two or three weeks apart, cost $69.98, so $9.99 more, and the count grows in two steps rather than one. For the tattoo studio, one order means 6,500 to 16,500; two orders means 6,500 to 11,500, then 11,500 to 16,500, with neither step reaching double the count before it.
Splitting also gives each order its own 30-day refill window, each running from when that order finishes. If you split, place the second order only after the first has fully delivered.
As a rule of thumb, go for one order if the account is already above about 6,000, or if the jump lines up with something visible, such as a guest spot, a press mention or a tour announcement. Go for two if you’re nearer the bottom of the range or want the growth to look as gradual as possible.
Delivery over one to two days
The first followers usually arrive within minutes of payment, and the rest are paced over one to two days. This is deliberately our slowest size, because 10,000 landing in an afternoon is exactly the sort of spike that stands out. Keep the profile public and the username unchanged until the order completes, and don’t run follower orders from anywhere else on the account at the same time. If something on Instagram’s side slows delivery, we’ll email you.

Go to the order boxThe “10K” look, and why it’s only a look
Instagram shortens follower counts from 10,000 upwards, so the studio’s profile would read 16.5K rather than a full five-digit number. People tend to read that K as the mark of a substantial account, and that impression is most of what this package buys.
Be clear about what the K doesn’t do. Instagram doesn’t unlock features at 10,000 followers; the old 10,000 threshold for links in Stories disappeared when Instagram made link stickers available to all accounts. Brands that pay for posts usually look past the follower figure to reach, views and engagement, and many ask for screenshots of your insights. Bought followers don’t add to any of those. If you’re hoping 10K leads to paid work, the Instagram money calculator gives a rough sense of what accounts earn and why the follower count is only one input.
The engagement mismatch, stated honestly
The most likely problem with 10,000 isn’t Instagram. It’s people noticing. Say the studio averages 190 likes and 15 comments a post: 205 interactions on 6,500 followers, an engagement rate of about 3.2%. After the order, the same 205 interactions over 16,500 followers is about 1.24%.
A visitor then sees 16.5K above posts with around 190 likes. That isn’t alarming by itself, since plenty of large accounts have low rates, but anyone who checks properly (a brand, a journalist, a rival studio) can see the follower count grew faster than the interest in the work. We can’t fix that for you. Three things narrow the gap:
- Proportion. Only order 10,000 if the account is already in the thousands.
- Activity. Keep posting Reels and Stories during and after delivery, so the profile looks lived in.
- Likes on the top row. A likes package on the few posts visitors see first: 1,000 Instagram likes cost $7.99 and 2,500 cost $12.99, each for one post. Likes only help the posts you buy them for.
There’s also the removal risk. Instagram has said it removes accounts it considers inauthentic, so part of a large order may disappear over the following weeks. If your count drops within 30 days of delivery finishing, email support@followersgain.co.uk with your order reference and we top it up free. The fuller picture is in will you get banned for buying followers? and how to spot fake followers, which shows what a sceptical visitor checks.
